I’m a little over 9 months into my trading journey (6 months of actual trading) and since I’ve been listening to you guys my discipline, habits, and focus have changed dramatically. You guys are helping me to build a strong foundation to keep going in this marathon. I have listened to the podcast every morning on my way to work, on my lunch breaks (sometimes even while I work) and on my drive home, everyday for the last 3 months. EVERY time I listen I feel like I walk away with whatever piece of knowledge I needed to hear that day. It’s been a game changer for me. I can’t thank you guys enough.

It’s good to hear an English man succeeding in this field along with everyone else on here.

Stephen, what trading platform do you use? a lot of them aren’t available for Non US Citizens.

I’m Still studying and learning for a lot more time before i trade, but it’ll be nice to have a good setup going in to it all.

thanks

Thanks for making this podcast session 1 of SteadyTrade. I think i am the very first few to sign up for this first lol, guess because I am ahead of time, in Shanghai 🙂

I am a millionaire student since last December and have recently decided to go full on the challenge Its being a rough first half of 2017, but never the less nothing will stop me for pursuing self sufficiency, financial education and freedom

I like the fact that the Podcast is funny and humorous haha, but not sure if it will appeal to most of the crowd tho 🙂 Very bromance talking style haha. I like it, please keep it up

I like how you mentally prepare for all the audience that everyone and anyone can get into trading, no matters what ethnic background, culture, race or sex one are. Most important it is a learning process, especially a long one that full of trial and error in finding ones own preferred style and strategy. You are trying to teach fishing by showing how and giving us the fishing rod instead spoon feeding.

Myself I am a martial artist and my model hero is Bruce, and I always believe what he always quote on, knowing and find ways to express yourself, use no way as ways. Guess there is no fix one approach and strategy 100% for everyone, one need to adapt to various situation of the macro environment and all etc

However I think it would be great to give a very brief broad steps on the high level processes that most successful trader had to go through. Kinda like the DVDs what Tim x 2 had put together for content breakdown in top down orders and the flow that guides through the education of trading

Myself I would prefer to learn more from podcast on different successful trader’s daily routines, and preparation before markets, and also the different mistakes/lessons we can learn from each of them. Since success is hard to duplicate, but mistakes and failures are often the sames for most

Just my 2cents and keep up the great work!
Steve

Interesting introduction to the presenters, ordinary people that could be “you”. Informative, a good set-up. I’ve watched a number (say 15) of Stephens video casts on “You Tube” which I thought were quite humorous and educational. They plot his success from complete “neophyte”, “having a clue” to “success”.
On the other hand I’ve never been able to get any of Tim Bohens pre or post market broadcasts, even though I’ve tried a number of times to join his training group STT Pro…..impossible to get him or the cost of how to join. STT itself is great software…I’m beginning to make a profit with it. Yeah…tho I’ve heard all their stories before it was some good light entertainment.

Looking forward to the rest of the season. Love the realness as well, “Most of you listers won’t win…any of these prizes”. The reward is getting the knowledge itself!

Tim, love your background and experience with trading, share all of them! Jonk, 99% of beginners don’t have the courage to share their losses, let alone document and share videos of their ups and down. Keep it up as you are an inspiration for every new trader like myself!

I’ve always liked Tim Bohen’s personality, and Stephen Johnson’s humor breaks things up from being stuffy and boring. It’s always nice to here peoples stories of there journey and how they end up where they are. Unfortunately I think your going to be a hit, So think on doing more than 6 of these. Ok?

Listened to this on the train on the way home. Loved the history. I’ve been seeing Steven’s videos from the start. So proud of this new opportunity for you! Very excited for all of the new insight. I’m hearing more and more that you need to research stocks before you trade them and make a plan. I’d love to hear more about that in future episodes. Also, I really hope I win the big prize! Thanks guys!

Hi Dulio, these things honestly you have to learn yourself by tracking the market and identifying the patterns that work for you. I’d recommend the free DVD trader Checklist or PennyStocking Silver to get more idea of patterns that work In the market. Trading Tickers has good BreakOUT patterns outlined by Tim Grittani on OTC and Nasdaq stocks.

You can easily start by setting up a broker and then getting through a lot of Tim Sykes Silver lessons or using Stocks To Trade Pro. This will give you the basics – or try Trader Checklist – Tim’s free DVD.

As to when you should start. It’s only when you feel truly comfortable to put your own money on the line with confidence in your trading plan – maybe we can add an episode into season 2 tho to discuss this more – cheers!

1 Learn to rely on yourself 2.Put in the work. 3. STUDY YOUR ASS OFF. 4 Dream big, see the bigger picture and realize what is capable. I’m beginning to live it, and kick myself in the ass when I forget it!

I love that this Podcast introduction is high in energy, motivational, REAL, positive, and leaves me wanting to listen to MORE, like.. RIGHT NOW! lol.

I also like how they mention what you can expect to learn.. THE BASICS OF MAKING TRADES, which for a n00b paper trader like me, who had no idea what he did in his last trade, minus under 3 minutes seen a stock go from green to red to green again, but failed to initiate it properly is GOLD! =) (Just being real here, we all start somewhere… x.x)

Anyways, I’ve made up my mind, I’m with this till the end and will be a successful FULL TIME MILLIONAIRE TRADER once my knowledge base is sufficient. Factory work and other jobs barely keep your head above the water, but its a waste of a life, time, effort, mental capabilities, energy and more. Worst of all, you are living to make someone else’ dream come true when in the meantime, you have no name, you are known AS a NUMBER ( The ultimate F*** Off Pleb) !!! This is what the world has really come to..

I feel it needed a Theme, as well as needed serious, yet funnier interviewee trading stories of each Podcast member. I think you need to add more personal stories of failure & success. Emphasizing the struggles, determination, motivation & personal goals on your journey to being self-sufficient or wanting to be financially free. Talking about each other’s strengths & weaknesses.

The first 10 minutes were a little irritating to me. Stephen was coming in clear but Tim had an reverberation when he talked. After they got on with the actual podcast though, everything was fine. Great information to put out, and a great topic to discuss with laying the groundwork to this series.
